Montenegro is a Balkan country with rugged mountains, medieval villages and a narrow strip of beaches along its Adriatic coastline.
Budva is a lively beach town, with luxury yachts in the harbor and a party vibe in the old town center.
Nearby is Sveti Stefan, a 15th-century island town turned high-end resort connected to the mainland by just a thin causeway.
Inland, the 17th-century Ostrog Monastery is wedged into a vertical cliff face.
Montenegro is truly unique in many ways. Nowhere else you can find so much natural beauty, mild beaches, clear lakes, fast rivers and gorgeous mountains in such a compact area as in Montenegro.
